Introducing:
Evaluation of Development, Growth & Execution
What’s your EDGE?
EDGE is more than a score — it is a comprehensive framework for player development.
Our tests measure control, accuracy, speed, and decision-making across standardized benchmarks. Results are compiled into a single EDGE Score that allows comparisons across age, grade, and even collegiate reference points.
Objective + Subjective: EDGE doesn’t replace coaches — it empowers them. Objective data works alongside coach evaluations for the most complete player picture.
Ongoing Development: EDGE is re-run during the season, giving players tangible evidence of growth and allowing coaches to adjust training focus.
Benchmark to the Next Level: EDGE aligns with the same measurable categories used at collegiate combines and pro academies
The Problem:
The Gap:
The Solution:
Player development is often evaluated through observation, making it difficult to measure progress consistently across coaches, teams, and seasons.
There’s no standardized method — or consistent age-level benchmarks — to measure technical ability and track growth with objective data.
EDGE provides measurable, repeatable assessments that give players, parents, coaches, and clubs clear, data-driven insight into technical development and growth.
HOW edge works:
-
Run a quick, standardized assessment: Players complete nine core drills (A–I): ball control reps, first-touch, shooting, timed sprints, and more. Results are captured in 10–15 minutes per player.
-
EDGE converts raw results into fair, apples-to-apples metrics. Scores are normalized by age cohort, then rolled into three categories—Control, Accuracy, Speed—and a single EDGE Score.
-
Coaches and players get clear strengths, gaps, and age-based benchmarks—and coming soon, suggested drills to close the gaps. Progress is tracked over time, so every retest shows real improvement.
Bottom line: standardize the test, trust the numbers, and turn data into development.
