EDGE Mission Statement:

Our mission is to set the new standard for youth soccer by creating a universal, data-driven language that Supports players with their technical development and growth. EDGE is designed to be consistent, repeatable, and accessible to every athlete—empowering coaches, clubs, and players to measure progress with clarity and purpose.

  • "Objective evaluations are a great baseline to show strengths and weaknesses. It is a good way to demonstrate areas that need to be improved.”

Ryan Duncan, Hockey, Professional/EC Red Bull Salzburg

  • “This type of evaluation, when tracked, can help players understand both where they need to improve as well as how much they have improved since the last assessment. Objective evaluations can be a great motivator for players to work towards a certain goal, and more significantly to improve on their own best, rather than to compete with their teammates for a ‘best’. Especially in youth sports.”

Laura Kloss, Hockey, Bemidji State University, D1

  • Coaches can use objective evaluations to provide specific, data-driven feedback, helping athletes refine their techniques. Seeing measurable improvements can boost an athlete's confidence and motivation to continue practicing and improving.

Trey Stross, Football & Track, Houston Texans (NFL)

  • “Repeating objective assessments helps learning and progress in sports development”

Kelly Adsit, Soccer, University of Iowa D1

  • “When objective goals and assessments are used in team settings they can create a huge sense of pride and partnership as a team.”

Rachael Drazan, Hockey, Olympic Team USA

  • “Objective evaluations create a more even barometer to compare one player to another.”

Jeff Engel, Baseball, U of Iowa & MN, D1

  • “Objective assessments help set realistic goals for development to avoid burnout or disappointment by giving measurable feedback. It builds resilience and character development for future self and allots for long term progress tracking, given it is a proper forum that can provide structured, fair, data driven analysis.”

    Marti, soccer, D1
